Doing the Happy Dance at Happy Lake

No, I didn't just win the lottery-and no some distant relative didn't just leave planet earth and leave me a bundle.

Why the happy dance?

Because Happy Lake was my 125th hike-my last hike for my Olympic Day Hiking book.

The manuscript is now done!

In six months, I hiked over 700 miles-shot hundreds of photos, sketched maps and wrote a 90,000 word manuscript. Its done! Yahoo! The book will be out next spring. So, am I resting now? Hardly. I'm working on my next day hiking book right now-this one for the North Cascades.
