The Republic of Washington

I return this weekend to one of my favorite places in all of Washington, the little city of Republic, located within the shadows of the Kettle River Range. I will be giving a presentation featuring my Columbia Highlands Book at the Parrish Hall at 7 pm on Friday the 8th. Hope to see some of you there. On Saturday I'll be hanging around town enjoying the 50th Anniversary of Prospectors Days. I'll be running in the Gold Rush 10K and hope to see a few of you there at the start line with me. If you have never been to this quiet and fascinating corner of the Evergreen State, you are in for a real treat.
