Does a bear ....?

Judging from this photo-the answer is a resounding "Yup!"
This bruin butt blast was deposited on the Baker River Trail. Lot's of bear activity along the trail this spring, especially since two legged visitors aren't out in substantial numbers. The road leading to the trail washed out last November (along with half the trails and Forest roads in Western Washington). Good news, though-the washout is easy to get around. From there it is a 3 mile trek on the road to the trailhead; an easy bike ride. The trail itself received some damage but not enough to hinder travel. Enjoy this trail now-along with the adjacent Baker Lake Trail to experience these popular paths in peace, And perhaps you may even witness the pooping bear!
